Angel: Who doesn't think their little baby is the sweetest angel? Here is an easy way to make an angel costume for your baby. All you need is a white long sleeve one-piece jumper (such as a zipper pajama) or a pair of white sweat pants and a sweat shirt.. For the wings, take a piece of white tulle (this is that sheer net fabric). Cut out an oval shape that will resemble a pair of wings. Take three or four layers and cinch in the middle. You can attach it to the back of the jumper by safety pins or if you will not use the jumper again, you can hot glue the wings in place. Your baby will probably not leave a halo on, but you can try! Take two gold pipe cleaners and make them into a small circle. Place on your baby's head. Now you have a perfect angel!
Devil: Those sleepless nights with your baby might leave you wondering if a little devil costume is more appropriate this Halloween! For this costume, you will need a pair of red sweatpants and a red hooded sweatshirt. Using either thick felt or craft foam cut out two devil shaped horns and hot glue them on the hood. Now you can make a tail using a long piece of felt. Cut it out in the shape of a tail with an arrow at the end. Pin it in the back. Your little Halloween devil is ready for trick or treating!
Skunk: With all those dirty diapers, you might want to dress your baby up as a "little stinker". You can make a skunk costume every easily. You will need a black hooded sweatshirt and a pair of black sweatpants, one piece of black felt, and one black sock and about ΒΌ yard of white fake fur (if you can't find this, you can also used white felt). To make the top, cut out two small rectangles for the ears. Slightly pinch them at the bottom to make them look curved. Hot clue them in place on the head. One the front of the shirt, hot glue a rounded piece of white fur for the belly and add a strip of fur going down the back. To make the tail, cut the top off to make it the length you need. Stuff it with paper towels or stuffing. Add a white fur stripe with hot glue and pin in place.
Ballerina: Your cute little girl will look adorable this Halloween as a prima ballerina. All you need is a pair of tights and a onesie, in any color. Pink is always cute. To make a tutu-you will need to use several layers of tulle and either attach it to a ribbon so you can tie it on the back or sew it on a piece of elastic. Trim it to the length you need.
