Four Easy Steps in Enticing Your Readership to View Every Single Page on Your Website
Most of Your Daily Web Viewers to Your Blog Will Only Have a Faint Interest in Your Articles. Here Are Four Proven Techniques for Peaking Their Interest to the Highest Level
When you write your daily blog or weekly content for your main site pages, you must visualize in your mind the various interest levels in all of your current and future readership's minds. That way, you will be sure to easily categorize your main subject headings and sub-title headings that will allow ALL readers to your site to just grab what they want from your content before moving on to another of your site's web pages, or clicking on one of your many ADSense text ads you have on one of your strong content web pages.
There are three distinct classes of reader interest in the internet world today:
1. No Interest
2. Some Interest
3. Strong Interest
The best level of interest you will ever be able to average from your typical web viewers on your blog or website will be the second level, "some interest". Most web viewers have a limited amount of time to read, and it's really impossible to write about a subject or topic that will interest every web viewer 100 percent of the time, so don't get discouraged by this information.
Just use it to increase your overall site visitation by encouraging these average web viewers to read your more compelling title headings which will then peak their interest in reading your entire blog or site content on your three best web pages.
1. YOU MUST BE ACCURATE WITH YOUR TITLE DESCRIPTIONS TO AVOID "NO INTEREST" WEBSITE VIEWERS TO YOUR SITE
The best way to satisfy every reader to your site is to write to every interest level in the top three categories listed above. Let's start with the "no interest" level. These viewers will not be of any concern to you as long as you clearly and concisely title your main topic page with the precise definition of what your article or blog content is.
You also must give accurate keyword definitions of your web pages so that search engines will only bring in viewers who have some interest or a very strong interest in every subject or topic on your site. If you do get a lot of people with no interest whatsoever on your site, these people will NEVER click-through to an affiliate site on one of your web pages, and they for sure will not buy any product or service from you.
So always be sure to never link your web pages that pertain to "Corvette body parts", for example, to a large web site that sells computer hardware. It will not help you at all in the long run.
2. USE HEADINGS TO MAKE MAJOR POINTS
To really gain a much stronger attention span from the "some interest" level group of readership, you have to allow these viewers to read all of your major points you are making in the article or blog content by just scrolling down your web page and glancing at your bold, all caps title headings that encapsulate your main points of each paragraph.
Your headings should be the most informative titles on you web pages. Don't waste your time veering off into another topic on your title page because that will confuse your reader into not knowing what the following article content is about. Think of your heading as a sub-anchor, which will help link the exact page you are currently writing to another page that is relevant to the current topic.
3. EMPHASIZE MINOR POINTS
Minor points detail the arguments behind a major point. The best techniques for emphasizing these points are as follows:
1. Use boldface font
2. Write in topic sentences
3. Use bullet points
Bold highlights should be used because they are easier to scan by the viewer. By using topic sentences, you are bringing the reader all the details they need to discern whether they want to read your article or not. Bullet points bring out the highlights in sequence, which helps making your topic argument clearer and more logical to the reader.
4. GIVE YOUR STRONG INTEREST READERS STRONG DETAILS
Readers who have a strong interest in what you have to say will be reading your entire blog or article content, so there is no reason to use the same writing techniques to spur their interest. What you need to do instead is give these readers hypertext links to other relevant articles on your site or another site that you have linked your blog to.
Each web page should be extremely specific with links to related and relevant information sources only. Don't bother linking an article that deals with "Corvette body parts" to another article on a site that describes the best places to buy computer hardware, for instance. A reader who has a strong interest in your web pages has a real thirst for learning more information regarding your various topics, so always be sure to link your pages to sources where they can get all the information they need.
By following these simple steps, every content writer working on the web today will be able to peak his vast readership's interest levels to the highest degree possible.
