Halloween is the holiday with the most fun. Increase that fun level exponentially with some creative ideas for making your own DIY homemade Halloween costume. You probably have all the clothes or materials you need, from using old clothes or fabric you've been saving for that rainy day. Here are some funny Halloween costume ideas.

1. Zorro Last Minute Halloween Costume for Kids and Adults

Do you have black clothes? Of course, we all do. Well, that is the basic requirement for a funny Zorro costume. Everyone loved Zorro because he was funny and entertaining. Your costume can be like the real Zorro. Just dress up all in black and then you need the Zorro mask. If you have a printer, go to this link and get the free mask template. Attach the template to the top of some black fabric and cut away. You will then have a free and fun Zorro mask. If you don't have a printer, you can also just eyeball the mask template and cut away on your own.

2. Cheap and Fast Caveman or Cavewoman Halloween Costume

Cavemen costumes are a real riot and you can make them super fast. You just need some brown fabric that you can cut into one big piece. Make sure there are two ends that you can tie around one shoulder. You can also make a caveman stick weapon by using a thick strip of cardboard with lots of newspaper strips glued together on one end. Check out the Web site of lovetoknow.com for more complete instructions.

3. Stuffed Doll Head Last Minute Halloween Costume

Do you have a great big stuffed doll that you are going to throw away? If so, cut off its head and you can use that for a costume. Just attach some string or straps, plop it on your head and tie the straps under your chin. Then grab an extra-large white dress shirt and tie the buttons up to the top of your head, just under where the lower part of the stuffed doll head begins. Then throw on a dress tie and you have your super-funny homemade DIY Halloween costume. Make sure you can see through your shirt or have someone help you walk around the neighborhood.

4. Mexican Wrestler Funny Costume for Men or Boys

Everyone loves those funny Mexican wrestlers in their zany costumes or their hilarious antics. Check out the IMDb page for a fun photo of Jack Black in character for the movie "Nacho Libre." You will see from his costume that you have to have a cape of a bright primary color. You should have something like this in your closet, something bright red or yellow that you can sue as a Mexican wrestler cape. Then find some bright over-sized colorful shorts to wear and some tights. Then cut up a stretch of brightly-colored fabric for a mask to cover all of your head, and make sure you have eyeholes.

People love going to Halloween parties and you should join them this year. Consider using one or more of these last minute Halloween costume ideas for yourself or your young child. Don't go out and spend buckets of money when you can make your own do-it-yourself homemade Halloween costume from the old clothes you will never wear again.

Happy Halloween!
