Four Great Uses for ChapStick

As the winter months approach, or worse, drag on, we all have a tube of ChapStick floating around in our purse or pocket. Everyone knows that applying ChapStick to dry, cracked lips will help them to heal. We also are very aware that using ChapStick on a regular basis will prevent our lips from getting dry and uncomfortable. Are there any other great uses for ChapStick?

ChapStick lip balm is a very versatile product. Although it is marketed solely for using on your lips, you will be amazed at the terrific uses for this product that you carry with you. After reading these great tips, you will want to keep a tube of ChapStick with you every single day of the year so that it is handy whenever you need it.

If you have a minor shaving mishap

And nick yourself, reach for some ChapStick lip balm. The cut is tiny, but uncomfortable. You can simply apply some clear ChapStick to the nick to ease the discomfort and pain. The ChapStick lip balm will keep the air from hitting the nerves. The ChapStick lip balm ingredients will help to heal the cut quickly.

This same principle works for a paper cut, as well. Always keep a tube of ChapStick in your office desk drawer...just in case. If you get a nasty paper cut, the tube will be easy to reach and ready to go.

Another great use for ChapStick is for healing sore skin around the nose. If you have recently been suffering from a severe cold or annoying allergy, you have undoubtedly been blowing your nose frequently. Regular tissues really make your nose sore and uncomfortable. Even if you use Puffs Plus, your nose may become red and irritated over time.

Use clear ChapStick to ease your sore nose. If your nose is sore and red, simply place a dab of ChapStick on the irritated skin around the nostrils and directly under your nose. Just as ChapStick helps your lips, it will help this area of skin, too. Catching this early can prevent the skin from becoming irritated in red. You will wonder why you suffered through the discomfort all those years.

If you must be outside in the cold for awhile, it is wise to place some ChapStick on the area below your nose above your upper lip. If your nose should begin to run due to the cold, bitter temperatures, this sensitive area of skin will be protected.

ChapStick is a great product that is both inexpensive and versatile. Keep several tubes handy for easy use.
