Angry duck scans skies.

WINTER SUNSET
Shadows blue on snow.
Yellowed sun behind the trees.
House lights flicker on.

Gray slush filling shoes.
Melting ice will soon refreeze.
Mild day after snows.
A COLD SEASON
Outdoors -- a wonderland!
Inside -- the stench of camphor oil.
Too much time outdoors!
