It's a great conditioner
Olive oil is a great conditioner for many reasons. Being all natural, it is never harsh and is even considered hypoallergenic. Olive oil is also packed with all kinds of natural hair pampering ingredients like Vitamin A and E. To use this super powered oil treatment on your hair simply apply either directly to dry hair or to damp hair in the shower and let sit anywhere from 5-30 minutes. Shampoo and condition as normal, but be sure to get the excess oils out of your hair, for some folks it's necessary to wash twice after this deep conditioning treatment
Olive oil makeup remover
Believe it or not a little olive oil on a cotton ball will remove even the most stubborn makeup. This oil makes such a wonderful makeup remover because it's not harsh and wont sting your eyes. Also it moisturizes the areas it's applied, making wrinkles smoother and skin firmer and more radiant. And the best part? It even removes the waterproof stuff. Now that's mother nature at her best.
For nails
Apply oil directly, preferably room temperature or warmer to cuticles and massage in. The oil will drastically smooth rough cuticles and banishes hang-nails and other imperfections. Add the oil directly to the nail after buffing for an instant shine, no need to wait for drying!
Olive oil Moisturizer
For years olive oil has been used on dry skin, and believe it or not it's in a lot of the high priced fancy products on the market today. Olive oil is so great for skin because, once again it's packed with vitamins A and E, the best friends of skin, hair and nails. These vitamins help your skin renew itself and even repair itself making it smoother, firmer, and dare I say radiant?
Different people have different methods for applying their oil. Some like to do it in the shower so they can rinse it off, some like to spritz it with a mister and rub it in before applying their SPF and still others just use it the same way they would lotion, rubbing it on liberally. Olive oil takes longer to soak into your skin than synthetic moisturizers so keep that in mind and don't apply it liberally unless you have some time for the "greasy" look to vanish. It will vanish, I promise, and it will be replaced with smooth, supple skin unlike anything you've probably felt in years. You can also use Olive oil as a daily facial moisturizer, though some with naturally oily skin report it is actually too moisturizing. If this is the case, you can dilute half and half with water, another oil, or even vinegar which makes a wonderful facial toner.
