Four Paintball Safety Tips that Should Always Be Followed on the Field

John Smith
Paintball safety is a topic that does not get talked about often or discussed much. However, paintball safety is very important. A lot of people go out and have fun paintballing and they don't ever have any tips to stay safe with because not a lot of people discuss that. A lot of new paintball players are just there to have fun, until something goes terribly wrong.

The first paintball safety tip that I would like to point out is to always wear a full face mask. There is nothing more important than a full face mask, so that you can protect your eyes. Many people go out to paintball and say oh I don't need a face mask they won't aim at my face, they know better. But most people will get hit once in the face when you are paintballing because you are mostly just shooting and you don't aim all the time. If you are out of the playing area and you can't get hit then you could take it off, but in a playing field always wear it. In my opinion wearing a face mask is probably the most important safety rule.

The second paintball safety tip is to know your surroundings. When you are out having fun you aren't going to stare at the ground and watch where your walking the whole time, you want to be watching your opponents. So you want to know if there are any big holes in the ground or if there are wolf traps or anything else that could help you. If you are out having fun just know where you are going.

The third paintball safety tip is to NEVER look down into the paintball barrel. If you look into the barrel it could accidentally go off and the paintball could hit you in the face which would hurt very badly. Additionally, it could hit you in the eye and you will probably go blind.

The fourth paintball safety tip is to always check your CO2 tank and make sure there is no leaks in it. You always want to make sure so that you don't have any bad accidents happen to you or your family and friends when you go to have fun.
