Four Reasons Why You Should Put Your Career Before Your Man

Michelle Knudson
A woman should always put her career first before her man no matter what happens in life. Ladies need to remember that a boyfriend or husband comes and goes in life more frequently than one wants to admit. Here are four reasons why you should put your career before your man.

Never Quit Your Career

You shouldn't give up your dreams on some man. There is never a guarantee in life that he will be with you forever. We tend to think that a husband will be around forever when we make those marriage vows, but sometimes years later spouses end up in a nasty divorce. You don't want to waste years on a marriage that could be devoted to a career.

Never Believe Marriage is Guaranteed

Don't watch your man get a degree while you sit back and support him through all of it. You are capable of going to school as well too. You shouldn't give up your education due to a marriage. You don't want to end up with resentment towards him for everything that you gave up. Your career is one thing that you acquire over time and nobody on the face of the earth can do it except for you.

Education is Forever

Education is something that lasts forever. No matter where you are at in the world you will always the education that you've learned over the years. No matter what is going on in life you will always have that knowledge regarding your career. You want to be able to take care of yourself on your income only by your career whether or not you have a man in your life.

You Are Worth a High Salary Despite What Any Man Says in Disagreement

Don't let a man that makes less than you do discourage you. You are worth a high salary when you have a degree that leads you to a high paying career. You do not need to listen to those men that are insecure when a woman has a higher education level than they do. Some men get jealous of women that have a higher salary than them. Don't let a bully put you down to feel like nothing when he is just jealous of success.
