Four Seasons Palm Beach: An Unforgettable Spa Vacation

R. Elizabeth C. Kitchen
For a friend's wedding several years ago, I had the opportunity to visit the Four Seasons Palm Beach. Located right on the beach in sunny Florida, this hotel, resort and spa is tropically landscaped and was built to promote relaxation. As one of the best hotels for a spa vacation, the Four Seasons Palm Beach offers you not only a place to sleep, but also a relaxation and vacation experience.

Location and Times

This hotel, resort and spa is located at 2800 South Ocean Boulevard in Palm Beach, Florida. Check-in time is 4:00pm and check-out time is 12:00 noon. You will have to book your room in advance. The wedding I attended was during the second week of November and the hotel was bustling, though, this was not considered a busy time of year for this hotel or area of Florida. Those who booked the rooms, booked them a year in advance. They also booked all of our spa and other specialty services in advance and it is a good idea to book these when you book your room to guarantee you will be able to squeeze them in during your stay.

The Spa

The spa is open everyday from 9:30am until 7:00pm. You should arrive to your spa appointment 20 minutes early to ensure everything runs smoothly. You can request in-room massages for an additional fee.

The massages available include rejuvenating stone massage, aromasport massage, aromatherapy massage, deep tissue massage, mother-to-be massage, couple' experience massage, Swedish massage, beach break massage, Asian bamboo massage, reflexology massage, Shiro dhara massage, Indus valley ritual massage and the ScenTao journey massage.

You can choose from a variety of body treatments during your stay. These include seaside escape body treatment, moor mud wrap body treatment, buried treasures body treatment, Palm Beach sun recovery wrap body treatment, specialty exfoliating glows body treatment and the kissed by the sun body treatment.

This spa offers several facial treatments. These include the Kate Somerville facial treatment, the dermal quench facial treatment, the deep cleaning facial treatment, the DermaLucent phototherapy facial treatment, the high skin refiner power lift facial treatment, the SeaCreation facial treatment, the customised European facial treatment, the gentlemen's facial treatment, the beauty flash facial treatment, the back treatment and the teen facial treatment. There are also facial enhancements, including collagen eyelift, sensational eye treatment, collagen veil, booster serums and extra ampoules.

You can also treat your hands and feet. Treatments include the blooming flower ritual, gentlemen's ritual, champagne ritual and power "feetness". Other nail services include the lavender manicure, French manicure, polish change, lavender pedicure, French pedicure, paraffin foot and hand treatment and little princess pedicure or manicure.

Other Things You Cannot Miss

During your stay, you can also dine and enjoy other attractions and amenities. You can enjoy a private cabana overlooking the Atlantic ocean and enjoy dinner or dine at The Restaurant at Four Seasons. Either way, you are sure to enjoy the tropically influenced and seafood cuisine.

The pool is spectacular and you can see the ocean from the pool. There are also plenty of loungers to enjoy the warm Florida days. You can also easily access the beach if you rather lie on the beach or take a swim in the ocean.

Other on-site activities include fitness facilities, golf, tennis, a business center and activities for children and teens.

You are also 15 minutes from Worth Avenue. If you love to shop, you will want to visit Worth Avenue.
