According to this card, a situation that has caused some discord is more settled now than it has been for some time and the querent is starting to feel more secure. Happiness, harmony and contentment is now theirs.
Symbolism in the Four of Swords
The four of swords is symbolic of respite and healing after discord. It brings a period of calm which allows emotional and physical batteries to be recharged. It's the type of card that appears after tests, interviews or examinations. Someone has worked very in a tense time leading up to it, then suddenly, it's all over and they're ready for a break.
Predictions in the Four of Swords
There is an air of seclusion and solitude suggested when this card appears in a spread. For some reason the querent is about to spend long spells on their own and this could be either voluntarily or through circumstances.
There is an attraction towards the more spiritual side of life such as yoga, meditation or developing their psychic powers. And to delve deep into such matters, there may be the need to cut themselves off, or withdraw from those around them.
If possible, there will be times when they'd love to lock their door and throw away the key. And yet, there is not such a negative feel to this need. Moreso, they are aware of the necessity of privacy in order to fulfil their spiritual ambitions.
Advice in the Four of Swords
The four of swords represents peace and tranquillity after a difficult time. There is every chance the querent will need this temporary spell of stillness in order to rest and recoup their batteries so whatever they do, they shouldn't waste this opportunity. Maybe they think they'll tie-up loose ends from the past, sort things out and get on with all the things they've been planning to do for a while. But this is not recommended.
This card advises them that for whatever reason, they really should just spend some quiet time on their own. Relaxation is recommended. The querent should get in touch with the real person inside because after such a busy and demanding period, they've not really thought about their own needs for quite some time.
There is more flexibility in their life now and within the next four weeks or four months, they will start to feel as if they're starting to get things just the way they're wanting.
