The 4 categories of Christians in Nigeria are:
The Extreme Born-Again
These categories of Christians are famous for praying for hours and hours (non stop). They are constantly reading and preaching the gospel whether they are at work, in a bus etc. They are usually identified by the way they dress and their quiet dispositions, they wear clothes that cover 90% of their bodies, and the women always cover their hair with a scarf, hat or cap. They hardly interact with sinners/unbelievers, unless off course, they are preaching to them by saying "give your life to Christ or burn in hell! God hates sinners!"
The females will never be caught wearing trousers, using weaves, earrings, perfume, make-up and certain high heel shoes.
The men avoid the company women like the plague; they do not wear jeans trousers (because it is believed to be worn by unbelievers!)
These types of Christians are perceived as being "crazy" by most people but they are quite admired and respected by other Christians who feel that the world needs people who are constantly praying and worshipping God.
The Modern Born-Again
These categories of Christians are quite liberal, they constantly pray, read their bibles and fast. They also preach the gospel but do it in a very different way. They are less condemning than the extreme born-again. The females wear make-up, jeweleries, trousers etc. They are identified by their humble dispositions when they are conversing with people. They are constantly preaching the gospel and interacting with "unbelievers" because they believe that God does not hate sinners (He only hates sin).
The Born Wuru-Wuru
The born wuru-wuru is a Christian that goes to church every Sunday but hardly reads his or her bible or prays. This type of Christian hardly preaches the gospel and does not take nonsense from anybody! They go to church to fulfill all righteousness, so that no one thinks of them as evil or Godless.
The Paper Christian
These types of Christians do not attend church, they do not own bibles and they do not know how to pray. They do not want to hear squat about church, although they believe in the existence of God and Jesus Christ but they just don't like going to church or they are just too lazy to attend a church service. The only way to identify them is by looking at their National ID card or bank account details where they have filled-out the religion question box with the word "Christian"
Many people in Nigeria believe that a true Christian is decent and respectful, many of them also believe that no true blue Christian should be caught listening to secular music, wearing clothes that are meant for the opposite sex, womanizing, fornicating, drinking or smoking.
