``Who's the new teacher?'' These are the words spoken by many of the high school students late in this first quarter. How could a teacher go so long unnoticed? He hasn't. When further explained by his physical attributes they knew exactly who he was. He was about five ten, Caucasian, wore glasses. There was more, much more. His hair seemed to be untouched since he had woken from his slumber. His hands hadn't even made a casual comb through his hair that appeared to be lathered with Crisco oil. It was brown, and the ends of his hair, which were split of course, curled and strayed in every which direction. If your eyes venture from his hair down to his face, things become perplexing. His eyes, they squint through his over-sized glasses as if they were trying to pierce through one's soul. They were like anime cartoons, his favorite type of entertainment, before they get excited, just little slits where eye sockets should be underneath the brow. His nose would wrinkle, his skin scrunching all together creating little skin flaps for his students to concentrate on during class, because they surely weren't paying attention to physics. His lips, they curled, not curled but were awkwardly lifted towards his nose. It is as if someone had put peanut butter or Vaseline underneath his top lip to make him unable to put it down. His teeth didn't help this raised lip. They almost protruded out of his mouth, but not quite. In its entirety, his face is hard to look at without becoming violent. His overall look can be summed up in one word, unkempt. He didn't care much about appearance; he cared about problem solving and anime. Ten minutes into seventh hour and class had yet to begin. Students were still arriving and random banter was being shouted in all directions. He had no control, like a prison warden whose inmates all escaped and were taking control of the jailhouse. Once some sort of order was established he announced there would be a quiz. At this point dozens of eyes stared at him with hatred. He gave the quiz because he wanted to know if the students knew the concepts of Newton's Laws to see if he needed to continue on this chapter or move on, but the students still hated him for this. Throughout the entire test there were candid remarks and people looking off other sheets. If the teacher was upset by this behavior his face remained the same. That same horrible contorted face never seemed to go away. It is hard to describe the happenings of the class without briefly mentioning the aroma of this room. A few words that were used to describe the odor were ``stank'', ``kind of like onions, but rotten'', ``bo (body odor)'', and ``are you sure you wrote `stank' down?'' Yes, I'm sure. I couldn't help but imagine that if it the smell made it hard for me to concentrate on my observation, what was it doing to the students trying to learn physics? I guess it doesn't matter much, but still one can wonder.
