Fourth of July 2010-Tattered & Torn

As I hung the really big flag out for the 4th of July this year, I had to stop and reflect on the last year, here in America. As I looked at the windblown, faded flag that had graced my home for 2 years, I thought how appropriate. It was waving in the breeze with strips of red and white tattered and torn. At first I thought, buy a new flag, then I said "NO". Why? This is America in 2010! We are tattered and torn and need repair.

We are in one of the worst economic situations in decades. We are fighting 2 wars, losing thousands of our young men & women, watching oil consume our Gulf of Mexico, dealing with double digit unemployment and a grocery list of problems that were not "ACTS Of GOD"!

As we celebrate our "FREEDOM" and we looked back at the Patriots who gave their lives to make us free, you have to admit that THIS 4th of July was just a vacation. It wasn't the celebration of what and where our country came from. It was a moment of imagined relief from the news and an opportunity to lie to ourselves and convince ourselves that America will be alright.

America used to be part of the British rule. We were subjects of the King. When Thomas Jefferson penned the Declaration of Independence, he originally wrote "subjects" where the word "citizen" eventually replaced it. He was so ingrained into the way he had always thought, he automatically used that word in his work.

As we have spent the weekend celebrating that we are now "free", we should now allow reality to return and take the blinders off. Who is free in America? Are you? What is happening in America right now is a great example of freedom turned chaos. A chaos that will, in the end, make America weak and could jeopardize the valuable freedoms our forefathers fought so hard to get.

Freedom of Speech: The news stations report every 10 seconds on every detail of every action taken by anybody that might have any control over anything. Good that we can report...bad that it continues to be used to divide the country.
All of the stations are biased and it comes out in their newscast. They are blasting us with their A-hole opinions. They are not there to keep US informed. They are there to make their dollar. They all have a book, they all have an ulterior motive for keeping us full of the vomit they spew. Glen Beck, Rush Limbaugh,Keith Olbermann and many others are constantly sniping at the other one. They only have so many guests that will actually continue to be on their show. If you watch enough, you will see the same people on over and over. More often than not, they visit each others show, if they are on their networks. O'Reilly will be on Glen Beck, Glen Beck is on O'Reilly.

These people are the first line of division. They keep America fighting each other. They keep our Government fighting each other. They keep a growing wedge in the hearts of Americans. How does that help our situations?

Government: The Government continues to pull the wool over all of us. Just today I read about Democrats losing funding because they support the Wall St. Reform. Republicans are fighting reform. So they will get more money from Wall St. Wall St is essentially telling our Government, "You will do what we say, if you want money"! Will our Congressional members and the members of the Senate along with the elected officials in the Whitehouse succumb to this pressure? Will they drop the deal about stopping the robbing and stealing from Wall St? Probably. Our Government is about money. Our world is about money. The entire financial crisis was caused by Swiss bankers trying to bring down the dollar in the U.S. They want a "One World Order" and a One World Dollar". They caused the recession and all of the effects of it. They intend to make it worse. They are going to FORCE America to fall, so they can have control.

Is our Government cooperating in this criminal act? Who knows? They won't stop fighting about bullshit long enough to pay attention. Will our Government, both Republican and Democrat stand by and let America fall? Will we? Can we?

The Supreme Court took away my rights and your rights to actually elect leaders in this country. Over 10 years ago, they decided Americans were too stupid to elect our leaders. They enacted a little known Constitutional Decision that takes away our ability to actually elect anyone. Did you get your memo saying they did that? Me neither. However, it appears that we have been snowballed for years now. We thought, "we" got people elected and turns out it was a joke. Now, we can look at the last 10 years, 8 of those belonging to Bush, and say, "Obviously, the people who were really electing leaders, were as stupid as the rest of us. I am wondering how much Cheney and Bush had to do with getting that decision operational?

We have given up the rights and freedoms, our forefathers shed blood for. Our Government has turned it's back on America. Both Republicans and Democrats are at fault. Throughout the course of many years, everybody has screwed up and has brought America to the point she is at today. There are no innocent bystanders. The people of America have done their parts to bring America down as well. We have been greedy and uncaring. We took on buying big, expensive homes we couldn't afford. We let the credit system rule us and we lost any common sense we had. We have opted to send our work dollars to other countries, so we could have an extra dollar in our pocket. We have sold America out, over and over again. We have rescued every country out there, but our own. It has become about "each person" instead of watching out for our country as a country.

We are at a crossroads here in America. We are problem weary and want answers. We should be circling the wagons and getting ready for the worst. We should see the Indians crossing the Prairie, headed in our direction. America needs to pull it's resources back to America. It needs to stop being the Savior of the World and try and save OUR Country! Being dumb about this country, it's history and where we are now is not an excuse. Wake Up America!. We are falling and if we don't stand up for our "FREEDOM" again, we are going to lose it. The world hates us and they want to see us fail.

Our 4th of July in 2010 should have been a wake up call. We need a new Revolution in this country. Not a TEA PARTY revolution but a revolution of "STANDING TOGETHER"! "WORKING TOGETHER"! Telling our Government, they will work together to solve the countries issues. Telling Wall St., "KEEP YOUR MONEY"! Use that to pay your bonuses! Will you stand up and help to heal America from the division we have been forced into? Or will you just continue to sit in front of the TV on Fox News or some other idiot show and cuss about what you think you don't have or about the black man in the White House? Will you learn about our history and about the real news, or will the news stations be your only opinion?

The Americans that fought for OUR FREEDOMS, were Patriots. American's today are just here. What kind of American are you?Are you an informed American or an ignorant American? You decide!

GOD BLESS OUR SOLDIERS AND THEIR BLIND FAITH IN WHAT THEY ARE DOING REGARDLESS OF THE CONSEQUENCES! GOD BLESS AMERICA! I PRAY SHE STANDS, EVEN THOUGH HER PEOPLE HAVE TURNED THEIR BACKS ON HER!
