Fourth of July Celebrations in and Around Bentonville, Arkansas

Bentonville Square will be rocking before and during the Fourth of July this year. It all starts on June 28 with Celebrate America. On July 3, First Friday throws a party in the square. On July 4, fireworks will be set off at Memorial Park. Plenty of ways to celebrate the Fourth of July in Bentonville, Arkansas this coming week.

Bentonville's Celebrations
On June 28, the first Baptist Church of Bentonville is sponsoring Celebrate America. This is shaping up to be a great pre-fourth of July celebration. The activities begin at 7pm. Free food, celebrity guests, and a military flyover are just some of the planned activities.

July 3 Bentonville is starting to celebrate the Fourth of July as part of First Friday in Bentonville Square. July's theme is Mom, Baseball and Apple Pie. This event is hosted by Downtown Bentonville and it runs from 5 to 8pm. Special Fourth of July events for this First Friday include watermelon seed spitting, the Ozark Quartet, bluegrass performances, apple pie and hot dog eating contest, and weenie dogs in costume.

Back to the Square on July 4 at 10 am for an all out parade. Bring your dogs, cats, pets, trikes, bikes, and anything else you can decorate red, white and blue for a Fourth of July parade during the Farmer's Market. Grab some lunch at a local restaurant and then head over to Memorial Park where the City of Bentonville will put on a fireworks display. While waiting, take a dip in the pool at the Melvin Ford Aquatic Center. Bring your lawn chairs or picnic blankets and get a good seat for the fireworks display.

Other Area Fourth of July Celebrations
Bella Vista residents can celebrate the Fourth of July on July 3 at the Loch Lomond Dam. A fireworks display is set for dusk.

City Park in Gentry will have a Fourth of July fireworks display stating at dusk on July 4.

Residents of Rogers, Arkansas can celebrate the Fourth of July at Veterans Park. A fireworks show is set for dusk on July 3.

Gravette residents can head over to Pop Allum Park on July 3 for the towns Fourth of July fireworks celebration.

Pea Ridge, home to Pea Ridge National Battlefield, will have an early Fourth of July celebration on Sunday June 28th at the Assembly of God Church.
