Fourth of July Celebrations in Jefferson City, Missouri

The Fourth of July is always a big celebration in my home town of Jefferson City, Missouri. Ever since I was a kid I remember them having a small parade, craft show, and street festival downtown before the main event of a fireworks show at dusk. Rain or shine Independence Day has always been one of our cities biggest celebrations of the year.

This Year for July 3^rd and 4^th they are pulling out all the stops, with two days of events planned to celebrate Independence Day.

The City of Jefferson has even set up a website this year to contain all the information and events planned leading up to the July 4^th sky concert fireworks show. The following schedule of events is from www.salutetoamerica.org
