Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, and come enjoy Kansas City's top Independence Day event, KCRiverFest, located at 4109 Baltimore on the waterfront at Berkley Park.
Set for July 4th - 5th, the traditional family-fun event will feature food, river sport demonstrations, a Brewfest that includes the tasting of brews from local favorites, exhibits, and children's activities.
A spectacular fireworks display will follow musical entertainment by local bands with a closing performance by the United Sates Air Force Band.
Admission is $5; and FREE for children 12 years of age and under. Coolers and pets are not permitted.

Legacy Blast in Lee's Summit
This Independence Day, come join the city of Lee's Summit for the safe and FREE "Legacy Blast Fireworks" display on July 4th at Legacy Park from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
The family-fun event will feature on-site food vendors, local entertainment and inflatable games at each sports venue.
Bring the entire family and enjoy the 4th of July fireworks extravaganza that will be composed to music and simulcast live on 94.9 KCMO.
Located at 901 N.E. Bluestem Drive, Legacy Park will open its South entrance at 6:00 p.m. and close at 9:00 p.m. Parking is available at all three sports venues.

Independence Day Missouri Town 1855
Want to broaden your July 4th experience? Lee's Summit will be hosting the Independence Day Missouri Town 1855 event at Fleming Park, located at 8010 E. Park Road from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Missouri Town 1855 is spread over 30 acres of land and is composed of buildings from the 1800s. An array of activities will be on hand during the event including, interpreters depicting the lifestyle of those from the 19th Century, playing of period music, and the deliverance of patriotic speeches.
Children's games and activities will also be available, along with an annual town parade.
Admission is $5 for adults; $3 for children ages 5-13 and seniors ages 62 and older; and FREE for children under the age of four.

Worlds of Fun 4th of July Fireworks Display
Celebrate Independence Day this year at Worlds of Fun with a fireworks spectacular starting at 10:00 p.m. Operating hours will be extended to 12:00 a.m. (midnight).
General admission into the theme park is $39 for adults; $15 for seniors 62+ and children under 48 inches tall; and FREE for children ages 2 and under. A $20 twilight ticket may be purchased for those interested in arriving later in the day.
