Festive Wind Socks:
-star shaped sponge
-white paint
-blue construction paper
-red party streamers

Squeeze a small amount of white paint onto a paper plate. Using a star shaped sponge, dip the sponge into the white paint and gently press on the blue construction paper. Stamp on as many white stars as you would like and allow the paper to dry overnight. Once the paint is dry, roll the construction paper up into a cylinder and staple in place. Cut several pieces of white and red streamers and attach to the bottom of the windsock with a stapler. Punch holes at the top of both sides of the cylinder and lace a piece of yarn to hang it with.
Fireworks Fun:

-drinking straw
Place the white cardstock paper on a protected work surface. Place a small amount of paint into a drinking straw. Carefully blow the paint through the straw to create an explosion effect, that will look like fireworks.
Patriotic Jewelry:

-yarn
Tie a piece of scotch tape around the end of a piece of yarn that has been measured to fit your wrist, ankle or neck. String the beads onto the yarn in rotating colors. Make different patterns or no pattern at all. When the yarn is full of beads, tie the ends together in a secure knot.

Allow your child to paint various designs on the shirt with red and blue. Using a thread and a needle, sew blue and red buttons around the collar of the shirt.

Glue red and blue star rhinestones to the thong part of the flip flops with fabric glue. Allow the glue to dry thoroughly.
