Each Fourth of July the entire Firestone Park, approximately 68 beautiful acres, is utilized for events ranging from bands and crafts to kids games, starting early in the morning and going on until the main event: the fireworks. By the 25th of May their heated swimming pool is also opened to the public and is usually full of people on the fourth. It is really the perfect setting for a family celibration, there is never time to be bored, and if you can make it early for a little bit of fun you should.
The fireworks always start at dusk, around 9 O' clock, and usually last 25 minutes to a half-hour, and each year they end with a huge fanale toped off with a lit up American flag from the stands of the track field; where the fireworks are lit from. If your looking for the best, free fireworks display for the fourth of July, the Firestone Park is the place to go.
