Watermelon Seed Spiting Contest

The watermelon is great to eat and the seeds are a blast to spit! Line up all willing member and load him or her up with a handful of seeds. Have each contestant spit a seed one at a time. Use a marker to mark how far the seeds travel. The one that goes the furthest is the winner!

Sparkler Match Off

Every Fourth of July favorite gathering must include sparklers. All soon as the sun goes down and the sky grows dark, have all participants light up their favorite color sparkler and see who can keep theirs going the longest.

Red, White, and Blue Water Balloon Relay

Divide up into three relay teams and mark each with either red, white, or blue. Instead of passing the relay stick each team will pass a water balloon. Any team that breaks their balloon is out of the race. The fastest team with the balloon still intact wins.
