Fourth of July Party Invitations

Free and DIY Fourth of July Party Invitations

Everyone loves a good excuse for a party. A popular summertime party is a Fourth of July party. To help you get your guests excited about your Fourth of July party I have a few invitation ideas.

These days it seems like everyone is always on his or her computer. One great way to invite people to your Fourth of July party is to send out evites. These are party invitations sent via email, so the only thing you will need is a computer. One site that I found is evite.com (click here to go directly to the Fourth of July party invitations). If you are having a BBQ party, this site has a card specifically for that. They also have a colonial flag invitation and an invitation with fireworks. On the card, you can enter the host's name, telephone, location, date, time, a message to your guests, and you can include a map if you want. These invitations are perfect because they are quick and easy to send, you don't have to worry about paying for postage stamps, and you save trees since they are done over the Internet.

Another fun Fourth of July party invitation that you can do yourself uses the Uncle Sam recruiting poster that says, "I want you for U.S. Army". For this invitation, you will need a computer, printer, envelopes, and stamps. You can make this into an invitation to your Fourth of July party by changing the part that says, "for U.S. Army" to "for my 4th of July Party". You can then print off the picture and put the details of the party (who, what, where, etc.) on the back of the card. To personalize it even more, when you put the recipient's name you could put "Private ______, you are invited to...". This gives the card an extra touch of patriotism. The picture I used for this article is from a Fourth of July party invitation that I made. Feel free to use it for your invitations by right-clicking and then clicking save picture as. If you have any problems using the image you can message me on AC and I can email it to you.

The next suggestion I have for a do it yourself Fourth of July party invitation is for you to use a word processing program and make the invitations on there. To make this Fourth of July party invitation you will need a computer, printer, envelopes, and stamps. You can decorate the card with clip art. If you can't find any clip art that you like in your word processing program, there are plenty of places online where you can find free clip art. Once you get the invitation the way you want it all you have to do is print in out and put it in the mail.

For the final Forth of July party invitation, you will need an index card, ruler, envelope, stamps, and blue and red crayons. You will use a ruler to draw 13 lines on the blank side of the index card. The index card will end up looking like the Colonial flag or the American flag (the Colonial flag is easier because it only has 13 stars). Once you have the lines drawn, you will color every other stripe red. The first stripe should be red. Proceed in coloring the flag appropriately. (Click here for a picture of the colonial flag.) On the back of the index card, put the details of your Fourth of July party.

I hope you find these Fourth of July party invitation ideas beneficial. Have a fun and safe Fourth of July!
