Fox News is My Favorite

FoxNews gives the most complete and balanced news available. You can depend on FoxNews to give you both sides of the issue. Now that I have your attention, let's get serious. I watch FoxNews because they have all these attractive, blonde, young female anchors and commentators. When you submit your resume' to FoxNews and you are blonde and female you probably receive a twenty point advantage. I would prefer to look at an attractive young commentator delivering the same news over a bearded middle aged man covering the same story. It's not the news; it's who delivers the news.

I ran through FNC's bios and came up with twenty-six female anchors and or correspondents. Out of the twenty-six, eighteen were blonde or light hair and the remaining eight had dark hair. Try to tell me that this lopsided percentage coincides with the population breakdown of everyday America. It is quite obvious to me that this excess of female blonde commentators is an integral part of the long term plan of Fox to maintain and increase the market share of viewers they currently enjoy. Sex does matter; look at advertising in general, many ads use sexual situations to advertise their product. I don't look at prime time television. However, the ads tell me that many shows have sexual overtones. I am not saying that this situation is bad or wrong, I am just saying that it is a part of the American scene. Sex is alive and well!

I don't have all kinds of facts or figures but I have read or heard that Brian Williams is having problems with ratings and CNN's audience is diminishing. From a personal standpoint I can understand these problems. In my opinion, Brian Williams looks like a good looking Frankenstein. Maybe they should darken the set and make it look like Transylvania. He may be more successful in that setting. I have always wondered what Wolf Blitzter would look like if he shaved his beard. Can you imagine Larry King Alive! It must be tough to compete with an attractive young blonde female. I always take in consideration the bias in any news reporting, therefore, I would prefer to see and hear the news from a nice young female blonde. The news is the same; the view is just more pleasing to the eye.

Just because I am on a diet, that does not mean I cannot look at the menu. (I don't know who originated this saying, I just use if often). If FoxNews continues to have anchors like Megyn Kelly, Martha McCallum, Laurie Dhue, and Courtney Friel, they will have me as a viewer.
