Jennifer Morrison's Early Life
Born in Chicago, Illinois, Jennifer Morrison grew up in Arlington, Illinois, where she attended and graduated from Prospect High School in the late 1990's. Her father taught at the same high school, and also directed the high school band. Morrison studied English and Theater at Loyola University. Upon graduation, Jennifer relocated to Los Angeles with the hopes of starting a television and film career. Prior to moving to L.A, she took acting courses with the Steppenwolf Theater Company.
As a child, Jennifer gained exposure as a child model, and successfully modeled for large retail chains such as Montgomery Ward and JC Penney. She also landed small television roles and commercials before choosing acting as a fulltime career. Other early achievements include landing on the cover of Sports Illustrated for Kids. At the age of fifteen, Jennifer made her film debut starring opposite Richard Gere and Sharon Stone is the movie Intersection.
