1st match: Drew Bannen & David Raines (The Fabulous Finishers) came out with a microphone and called out Paul Warfield. I've known Raines for years and first met Bannen at an SGWA show. The Finishers can really get the crowd to hate them. Drew Bannen defeated Paul Warfield after an illegal trip from the outside by Raines.
2nd match: Dirty Don & Phenom make their way to the ring. Out next is Dirty Dawg, one of the FPW fans favorite wrestlers. All 3 of these men once wrestled with SGWA. Dirty Don and Phenom are perfect heels at distracting the ref while cheating. Don once told the ref "you are a bed ref, you can't even see what's going on right in front of you" while performing an illegal move. Dirty Dawg always has the fans behind him and wins this match. Afterwards, Phenom tries to attack Dirty Dawg, but Dirty Dawg makes it to the back.
3rd match: Phenom's match is next and he stays in the ring. Out comes Spazz and attacks Phenom. Spazz was the master of the moonsault back in SGWA days. I didn't even recognize him when I saw him earlier in the night. I gave him a hard time about putting on a few pounds. He may have put on some weight but still can do some great moves. My girlfriend had never seen any of these guys before. I told her to watch out for the moonsault. Never saw the moonsault on this night, but she was amazed at a flip he did after taking a clothesline from Phenom. After lots of back and forth action, Phenom eventually wins the match.
After this match, we go to an intermission.
4th match: Tommy Gunnz comes out. The Finishers come out again. Drew says David is the greatest technical wrestler of all time and can defeat Gunnz with any move. As the bell rings, Drew goes to get out of the ring and Gunnz rolls up Raines for a quick win. Killer Keith Steinborn attacks Tommy Gunnz. The Finishers and Steinborn try to beat down Gunnz until Dirty Dawg & Paul Warfield make the save. They start a "one move" chant as that is all it took for Gunnz to win the match. This leads to a 6 man match.
5th match: Tommy Gunnz, Dirty Dawg, & Paul Warfield vs. Killer Keith Steinborn and The Fabulous Finishers. After lots of cheating and double teaming from the Finishers and Steinborn, the good guys win after a double pin. Gunnz pins Drew and Warfield pins Raines.
It was a very good show especially for the price- only five dollars admission. I would recommend it for anybody in the area. Shows are the second Saturday of each month at the WeBump Printing and Graphics Building at 315 Reidsville Road in Lyons, Georgia.
