We had never seen the Franco-American brand of soups in any of the local grocery stores. After reading the label we discovered the Campbell's Soup Company name, address, and telephone number listed on the can of the tomato soup.
The address listed on the label of the Franco-American Tomato Condensed Soup is:
Campbell Soup Company
Camden, NJ 08103-1701
The telephone number listed is: 1-800-257-8443
The can has a pop-off lid, which is very convenient. This type of lid is nice because it makes opening the can rather simple without the need to use a can opener. There is a caution written on the label to be careful because of sharp metal edges.
The can directions say that you can use either water or milk to prepare the soup. According to the label, using milk will give the tomato soup a creamier taste. We had tried another brand of condensed tomato soup using milk, but we prefer the way tomato soup tastes using water.
Using water, we followed the preparation directions on the can. When the tomato soup was ready, we poured the soup into cups. We enjoyed a pleasant treat because the Franco-American Tomato Condensed Soup tasted good with an excellent tomato flavor.
Along with the tomato soup we ate a tuna salad sandwich. Perhaps next time we will try the tomato soup with a grilled cheese sandwich.
Some nutritional facts for the Franco-American Tomato Condensed Soup are listed below:
There are only 80 calories per ½ cup serving size. It is nice that the soup is not high in calories so you can have a good size serving of tasty soup without worrying about consuming a large amount of calories.
There are 0g of total fat, 13g of sugars, 710mg of sodium, 0mg of cholesterol, 1g of protein, and 1g of fiber per serving of soup.
The label states, among other things, that the Franco-American soups are made with wholesome vegetables, herbs and spices, etc., for a delicious taste that both children and adults will enjoy.
We are sure to buy a few more cans of this tasty Franco-American Tomato Condensed Soup the next time we go shopping.
