Dangerous: How's life in Switzerland and what took you to that part of the world?
Blue Eyes: The First time that I came over here I was on an eleven city tour throughout Germany and Switzerland for my singles," Goodbye" and "Cleaning House". Then I returned that same year with Virgin recording artist Dwele, after that I began receiving calls to come back to Europe for more shows.
Dangerous: Do you headline your own show?
Blue Eyes: At times I headline, and then there are other times where I open up for an artist.
Dangerous: Is the music on your MySpace page available for purchase?
Blue Eyes: Not at the moment, but by the time this is published the music should be available for purchase.
Dangerous: When was the last time you were home? Any plans to come back soon?
Blue Eyes: First of all let me give a shout out to MC Breed, Young Breed, Lady Sol, Bootleg, Reignman, and Bangtown Records. It's been a minute, let's just say that. I miss home and most importantly I miss my father. Shout out to Samuel Lee Smith. I Love you, daddy!
Dangerous: Are you working on a book? What is it about?
Blue Eyes: My Life and travels. Maybe people will be interested, maybe they won't. But why not give it a shot. Communications was my major in college.
Dangerous: You've worked with Shaq and other artists like Ja Rule and Mase; please tell us how you networked that.
Blue Eyes: I moved to New York and knocked on doors. I sang on a mix tape with Mase and Ja Rule through a good friend of mine, Nasheim Myrick, who is one of the Hitmen for Bad Boy, he took me under his wing and introduced me to them. With Shaquille O'Neal I was invited to a video shoot where Jermaine Dupree was putting Whodini back out and I was backstage playing and singing with Trey Lorenz, Mariah Carey's background singer. Shaq's manager heard me singing and three days later I was flown to Shaq's house in Florida. That was truly a great and fun time. The Money was nice, the living was nice and most importantly Shaq was just a Big Kid. Very nice, very gracious brother.
Dangerous: Any big projects in the works?
Blue Eyes: Yes, my album, possible movie roles, and more performing but I don't like to talk too much on that until the projects are completed. I have also been honored to receive the title of American Ambassador to CIDAD in Africa which is based out of Switzerland, but has a mission to help the poor and underprivileged children that are suffering from lack of education and no knowledge about the effects of AIDS and how you get the disease. I will be going to Togo, Africa in the near future to perform and meet the people and possibly help educate not only them but myself as well.
Dangerous: Last Words?
Blue Eyes: When I am performing and let people know that I am from Flint, Michigan there are times when the crowd screams and hollers. Some people in Flint might not be too happy about Michael Moore but he sure did put Flint on the Map with his documentaries.
