Oktoberfest is a traditional celebration of German beer that originated in Munich in 1810. Frankenmuth's celebration is the only Oktoberfest outside of Germany that's officially sanctioned by the city of Munich. The Frankenmuth Oktoberfest will be celebrating 21 years in 2010. Oktoberfest 2010 in Frankenmuth, Michigan takes place at Heritage Park from 09/16/10 through 09/19/10.

Oktoberfest offers visitors a large selection of ethnic food and beverage specialties as well as American favorites, dancing on a 68' X 60' wooden dance floor, and Weiner dog races. Of course these are just a few of the fun weekend activities you can expect at Oktoberfest. The weekend is jam packed with music and fun for the whole family.

Admission to the Oktoberfest is $8.00 per adult and children 12 and under are free. Sunday all day is free for everyone. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the gate. Discounts only apply to groups 20 or more. For more information call 1 (800) FUN-FEST.
