There is no admission charge, you simply pay for whatever you want to do and they have a neat debit-like system called Fun Money. You pay $.50 for this card and you can reuse it over and over by swiping it through a machine and then either using cash or a credit card, add money to your balance. This card can be used for anything except Frankie's Restaurant including any arcade game, amusement attractions or the snack bar.
The inside arcade is amazing, you will find just about any game you can imagine and they are constantly adding new machines. They have everything from the classic pinball machines to virtual racing games to games of skill that you would usually find at a carnival. The skill range varies on these games as well, there are games directed towards young children such as a carnival duck game to games that are focused towards adults, like the fast paced trivia game. Many of the games reward you with tickets which you can then redeem for prizes, they have some awesome prizes so if you plan on going often, save your tickets for something great. They also have a few skill games that reward you with expensive gifts if you are able to complete them such as Stacker, if you are able to complete the very challenging goal you can win a PSP or even a Nintendo Wii system.
Although the arcade would probably be enough to keep you and your children busy all day, there are many other attractions as well. Inside with the arcade you will also find laser tag, which has a unique viewing room so people who have decided not to play can still watch. When you step through the back doors you will be amazed at how many more activities there are! There are three different go-kart tracks, the road course, the rookie course, and the shamrock slick course for the more challenging experience. Frankie's Fun Park also has bumper boats which are a lot of fun but only open during the summer months as you will get wet! Miniature golf is another great way to spend time with the family at Frankie's where there are three different courses ranging from easy to advanced, all of which have 18 holes of entertainment.
Each attraction is paid for separately, either using cash, a credit card, or your Fun Money card which is great for parents to fill with a set amount of money and allow children to spend it how they want. Although these are the main attractions at Frankie's Fun Park, there are several others and are constantly changing so you really just need to head on over to the corner of Glenwood Avenue and TW Alexander Drive in Raleigh, NC to check it out for yourself.
