Excellent Gifts for Loved Ones

The Franklin Mint is best known for designing some of the most beautiful collectibles for hobbyists. Some of these collectibles include: dolls, plates, coins, jewelry, and model cars. Franklin Mint is also known for making model cars that are sought after by some of the most diehard collectors who want nothing but quality in their collections. These cars also make the best gifts for those who aren't even collectors, but just want to have a nice piece of art to add to their desks, shelves, or tables. The Corvette models that Franklin Mint produces are some of the nicest looking 1:24 scale cars. Their 1:24 scale cars measure up to 7 and a half inches in length and include a finely detailed engine that only top model car brands can manufacture. These cars also have an extremely detailed interior that will impress any collector out there. The seats are made out of soft leather and the wheels of high quality rubber unlike most model cars. Models that are based off the 1982 Corvette are rather hard to find at online stores for an affordable price. I have seen these models go up to three hundred dollars apiece at www.eBay.com. You can possibly find more different Corvette model cars at www.FranklinMint.com, but they are rather expensive unless paying $135 per car seems reasonable like a reasonable price.

My personal favorite Corvette is the 1978 model because of its sleek look and amazing engine. I actually own several of these model cars and all I can say is that the detail is rather brilliant. I recommend on getting the silver colored version because it looks so much like the real thing. There is also a pace car version of this model, but I think the silver model looks more attractive because of its traditional look. The best place to find these cars at an affordable price is at www.eBay.com because they can sometimes sell for thirty five to sixty dollars. Those prices are very good considering that the "buy it now" price is three hundred dollars. The only problem is that they are very rare and can only be found if you have patience to look at all the Corvette models available at eBay. I bought my model for twenty one dollars because it was used. It was still in mint condition, but there was some very slight paint wear on the doors.
