Fraud,Theft, and Forgery

I want to share with everyone what happened in my Home town about a month ago. This will surprise so many people. These are things you would never even think about. These things I'm going to tell you have happened to myself, and many of my Family members. This has been going on for years but we just found out about all of it a month ago.

A few months back, around Tax Season, I wanted to file my Taxes myself instead of trying to find a cheap place to do them that wouldn't charge all out prices, and then take half of my money. I trued to do them myself but just couldn't figure it out, and was nervous that i would do something wrong, and get in trouble. My Mothers Boyfriend came to me, and told me that he would do my taxes for me, and not charge me anything. He said he has been doing them for my whole Family for years now. So i agreed to this arrangement but it was to be done at my home on my Computer.

When he came to my home to do them, he got on my Computer. After 20 minutes he said that he couldn't do them from my Computer because he needed a certain Program. He said he had that Program at his house. I agreed to let him do my Taxes at his house but i told him when he was finished he is to have me come to his house, and look it all over before i sign it. He said "Of course"! So about a week after he took my information to do my Taxes i called him, and asked him if he was finished with them. He told me that i wasn't getting anything back, and to just forget it because i will end up owing the IRS money. I told him that i knew i was getting some money back, and that i wanted my papers back so that i could take them to someone else.

He said he would try one more thing, and get back to me the following day. The next day he said that he had to look around for my paper work, and that i wasn't getting anything back anyway so just leave it be. I told him that i was coming to get my papers because i knew i was getting money back. He told me that he will look at a couple more things that he may have done wrong, and get back to me. Well it was weeks later before i heard back from him.When i called him he told me he lost my paper work but i should be getting a check in the mail soon. So i waited a few weeks, and i got nothing. I called him back to ask him what was going on with my Taxes.

He said your money should be on the way. I told him that i couldn't get any money if i didn't sign anything or ok anything that he did. He told me that he did everything the way its supposed to be, and that because it was on line i didn't have to sign anything. I wasn't sure about all of that so i just assumed that he was right. After waiting a few more days i thought about things, and they just didn't seem right so i decided to call IRS to see what was going on. I asked them how i could file my Taxes if i didn't have my paper work. They asked me why i wouldn't have that information, and i told them the situation. I told them that i had someone else do my Taxes for me, and that that person has changed his story two or three times about my money. And on top of it all he didn't let me see what he filed or sign anything. She said thats not possible that you have to sign them before mailing them.

She took my information, and told me that my Taxes were filed a month ago, and that my check was already received, and cashed. I went crazy, and told her that was not possible. I never got anything. She told me the address the check was mailed to, and it was my Mothers, and her Boyfriends Apartment. I called him up but he didn't answer. I got on line, and messaged him telling him i know what he did, and i contacted IRS about it. He messaged me saying he didn't want to talk on line, and that he would be right over to talk to me. When he came over he told me that he did my Taxes Illegally, and that he Forged my name, and cashed the check. He said that he did it so that i could get more money back but when the check came he didn't dare to tell me what he did. I told him that i was going to the IRS, and the Police to tell them what he did. Today he is in Jail for Forgery,Theft, and Fraud.

He has also recently been charged several times for each one of these Crimes. The Police found out that he did this same thing with over 10 peoples Taxes, and that he received over 20,000 dollars in Fraudulent Tax money. It has also been found that when he was delivering Newspapers for our Local towns he was going around stealing peoples mail our of their box when he dropped them a Newspaper. Police found that he was opening peoples Credit Card, and Bank Statements, and using the information to Order Pills offline, and to Buy or Purchase things on line. He was charged with over 15,000 dollars in on line Fraud using other peoples Credit Cards, and Bank information. They found almost everything in his home as Stolen Property.

He is currently being Sued from a Longtime Customer of the daily Newspaper. A older man sent a check to my Mothers Boyfriend for the Holidays for being so great on delivering his Newspaper everyday on time. (is what my Mothers Boyfriend said) When my Mothers Boyfriend received the check it was for 40.00 dollars. Well my Mothers Boyfriend added two extra W's, and made it 4,000 dollars. It just so happens that the older man had had that same Bank Account for many many years. The Bank Practically new every Transaction done on his Account without looking at it. When the man got his Statement in the mail he immediately called the Bank.

They told him that they were going to call him because it was an unusual Transaction that he had never made before. It turned out he only used that Account for certain bills he paid. They found out through Police Investigation that my Mothers Boyfriend took the mans Bank Statement out of his mail box when he delivered his Newspaper. Inside the Statement was all his Information, and also a blank check. My Mothers Boyfriend got that information, and ran up all kinds of bills for this man, and made the check out to himself from the guy. In the end the man never sent my Mothers Boyfriend a check for anything. Thats just what my Mothers Boyfriend told everyone. I have recently found out that he also ran things up in my name as well. He used my Social Security Number, and my 5 year old sons number, and put things in his name. I know have some debts that are being dealt with.

This has happened to over 8 people in my Family in over a Two year spend. None ever knew until i went to IRS, and the Police. Thats when things were pulled up on him, and the Police, and IRS starting finding things they never noticed before. So to EVERYONE, please be careful who you let do your Taxes, and have your Personal Information. You never know. Be Cautious of your Mail as well. To this day i have a P.O Box. He did these things to my Mother as well who know has to go to Court right before Christmas to prove that it was her Boyfriend who did things in her name, and not her. She spent Two weeks in Jail because of this but proved it wasn't her, and got out. Know theres other things found, and again she has to prove he did it to her. Who knows how that will turn out. The good thing is that he is finally in Jail, and not getting away with any of this anymore. Even though you think you know someone you never really do. People in my town, and other Local towns are very Cautious of these things now. And be careful as to what information you give out on line. He had a Hacker Program as well, and got tons of Personal information that way to. I hope this opens everyones eyes.
