Poem

Kady Birdwhistle
Today
The sun hit my shoulders-warm
On top on brown American Eagle shirt
I cruise down Worley Street-shroud
With my red-white German bike-seige
Of the coaster type wheelin'-deal
Nothing could have been sweeter-candy
Nothing could have touched me-me
I was as close to flying see-eye
As flying could be close to me-me
Turning left to campus college-mine
The big yellow-bus dumpster-refuse
Collecting trash a toothless-non-friend
Man-grin grins at me I pedal on-fast
Little girl braids a swinging'-crazy
Yells at me with fourteen year old-mouth
"FREAK!!!!!! YOU FREAK!!!!!!" I nod -say
"What was that do you have something to say?"
Just an honest question she quiet-nonscreamer
I guess I scared her into some respect-today
Today
No love for anyone
People are full of the neighbor non-friend hate

I'll let the poem speak for itself

If we learn from others mistakes, what they do is a good thing because it helps you be a better person, and you are a beautiful person, very well loved. Good Job Miss Kady ken

Don't let a person's lack of maturity and understanding scratch the surface of your soul. Protect your heart with the breastplate of righteousness that Christ gave you.

Sorry Kady, but, hey, she put a good poem into your head so something good came of it. You know you are a wonderful person. When others don't see the good in people or things, it isn't your problem, it's theirs. Al you can do is keep being your happy self and hope it rubs off on people. Have a happy, positive day! ~Momie~

Hi, Kady - I'm not great at deciphering poetry, but there IS a lot of anger and hate out there today - and not all of it is from those who are labeled "politically incorrect". There is venom coming from everywhere, because people have no hope. They've been told for too long that God doesn't exist and that there's no absolute truth.
