Kiss & Tell is a great event put on by the Fredericksburg Guidebook every year. The event includes two seperate progressive dinners. 2010 Kiss and Tell dinner took place on February 28th and March 21st. For both dinners participants rode the Fredericksburg Trolley to visit 5 restaurants each service one course. This year the two dinners where completly separate with no overlap of restaurants including a total of ten Fredericskburg area restaurants.

On March 21st diners traveled by Trolley through appetizers at Cheeseburger in Paradise, soup and salad at Aladdin's Mediterranean Café, Pasta at Bridges Past and an entrée at Smokey Bones to finish with dessert at Las Palmas.

First course was Tropical Chicken Satay served on a bed of lettuce at Cheeseburger in Paradise located in Central Park. Diners praised the manager and his staff for an outstanding job "making sure everyone was informed and catered to". The service and atmosphere were great and compliments to the bartender who's "blackberry sangria was excellent"!

The Satay Chicken was described by diners as "spicy but perfect" with a peanut sauce that "had a nice kick to it" One diner summed up the Cheeseburger in Paradise stop stating "the chicken was wonderful with a little kick or spice, the atmosphere was great, truly is a good place."

The second course of the March 21st Kiss & Tell Diner was Settoush Salad and Chicken Noodle Soup at Aladdin's Mediterranean Restaurant. Aladdin's served unique food and dipping sauces that were well received by the Kiss & Tell diners.

Aladdin's was described as a "nice family restaurant" earned compliments like "love the soup", "Very tasty" and "the green dipping sauce was great". One Kiss & Tell diner's enthusiasm was clear as they commented "The food left me wanting to try more. The pita bread and accompanying dips were addictive!"

For the third course of progressive dinner diners rode the Trolley from Aladdin's Mediterranean to Bridges Brick Oven Pizza for pasta. Bridges Past served a tasty Penne alla Vodka with some pizza. Kiss & Tell diners remarked that the "atmosphere was great" and commented that they loved meeting the "friendly and charismatic owner".

There was also praise for "delicious great martinis" and participants commented that they are eager to return to Bridges Past to try the "large variety of interesting pizza toppings" the restaurant has listed on the menu.

The Trolley took diners to Smokey Bones Bar and Grill for the fourth course of the March 21st Progressive Diner. Smokey Bones served a satisfying entrée of ribs, coleslaw and BBQ Baked Beans to Kiss & Tell diners The votes and comments on the official Kiss & Tell Ballots were consistent in the opinion that the "food exceeded my expectations".

Diner's commented that "ribs fell off the bone", it was "the best pulled pork in town" and "Smokey Bones has some awesome BBQ!" The atmosphere and staff were praised just as highly with remarks like "service was outstanding" and Smokey Bones was dubbed "a keeper" with "great staff". "Great sauce, great donuts, great beer."

The final stop of the March 21st dinner was dessert at Las Palmas. When the Trolley dropped Kiss & Tell diners off at Las Palmas for Tres Leches Cake that diners described as "incredible". It was a terrific ending to wonderful progressive dinner. The staff was "genuinely friendly", "eager to please" and "extremely engaging" and diners remarked that they enjoyed meeting the delightful owners who were "nice to talk to.

Las Palmas served a "fabulous desert" and was crowned by one diner as the "best stop of all". The Tres Leches Cake was described as a "delicious cake and topping; spice on the tope was very nice". It was a "great dessert" and many participants left "looking forward to coming back for Salsa dancing" and more of Las Palma's great cuisine.
