Thanksgiving is a wonderful time to appreciate your friends and family and indulge in the foods of the season. Many families live a great distance away and do not get together at all, and some are right down the street. I have collected five websites that you can give out free Thanksgiving e-cards to those far away, or next door.

For some really cute Thanksgiving hi-jinks, check out www.funsilly.com. They have an assortment of fun and silly, just like the name implies e-cards. This one, (click here), has a farmer looking for his turkeys for Thanksgiving dinner. The turkeys are dressed as cows. It is adorable. This next one, (click here), has turkeys escaping from a turkey farm. I will warn you, there is an alarm that sounds and it is loud! This last one is for the friends and family that like fart jokes. (Click here.) It is a cute card and very loud. My son would love this one!

This next site is Nancy's Ultimate Disney Site. It has many different types of cards to send, and down in the middle of the main screen you see the Thanksgiving cards. (Click here.) They have adorable ones of Mickey and Minnie dressed in traditional Pilgrim clothes. You can click on the picture and preview the artwork. Then use your "back" button on the browser and it will take you back to the original screen. From that screen you can preview more artwork, or you can select the 'dot' of the card you want. Then scroll down the screen and fill out the sending information. There you are! Free Thanksgiving Disney e-cards!

I found a website that donates to the rainforest every time you send the free e-cards they offer. It is called care2care.com. They have some very beautiful Thanksgiving e-cards that is sure to make anyone smile. Click here to access the site and choose your card. You have the option of adding music or signing up with them and they will send out cards for you next year, too. I haven't signed up yet, but it looks like a nice thing to do. Donating and saving the environment at the same time is always a winning idea.

RiverSongs.com offers some very beautiful cards. They are complexly free and you don't need to sign up or get a 14 day trial, like many sites make you do. I looked at many of the cards on this site and they are tasteful and elegant. (Click here). Some of the cards have nice tables all decorated for Thanksgiving, while others had a dancing fox and dog giving you a big hug. I like the kitty on the swing the best.

Higreetings.com is another site that is giving you the chance to send free Thanksgiving e-cards. Click here to access their assortment of free e-cards. You can choose from 'postcard' style or 'flash'. The postcard style is a still picture and the flash is animated. There are quite a few subjects, like well wishes or missing you. My favorite is a beautiful still picture of an autumn day next to a river. (Click here to see it.)

There you have it; five different sites all with different styles of cards. I hope you find one to match perfectly!
