Makeup removal: Did you know that your hair conditioner works great as a makeup remover? Simply wet a facecloth or use disposable wipes or cotton pads then squirt a dab of your hair conditioner on the cloth. Gently remove makeup by rubbing the cloth on your face in small circular motions. Most women do not realize how much makeup is left behind after they finish cleansing. Use a clean cloth or pad for a check to see if residue is left behind. Wet the cloth well with plain rubbing alcohol. Apply to your face using the same circular motions. You will be shocked to find just how much makeup was left on your face. The rubbing alcohol is a very inexpensive substitute for toner. The same result is achieved. Continue to use clean cloths until the final wipe shows no dirt or makeup.
Facial moisturizers: After cleaning and toning your face, you will notice a tightness because of the oils removed during the toning process. You could buy expensive moisturizers, but the olive oil in your kitchen actually works the best. In fact, many moisturizers list olive oil as one of their main ingredients. You do not need much. Put a few drops on a cotton pad or puff and apply to your face and neck. Your skin will tell you if you need a little more or a little less. You can also moisturize with vitamin E oil. This oil is a little thicker than olive oil so use less.
Ex foliating: You will want to share these free beauty tips with female relatives and close friends. You have the best ingredients for ex foliating skin right in your own kitchen cupboards. In a small bowl, mix one teaspoon of granulated sugar, one fourth cup of uncooked oatmeal, and enough oil to make a paste. Using your fingers, dip up the paste and massage over your entire face in circular motions. Use up all the paste then rinse your face with cool water. It is very important to ex foliate dead skin cells regularly. Moisturizer will do you no good if you allow dead skin cells to build up on your face and neck. Moisturizers cannot bring moisture to dead skin.
Makeup and more: The best free beauty tip that every woman can use involves plain ole petroleum jelly. You can buy a hugh tub of the stuff for a couple of bucks. It takes off makeup, especially the hard to remove mascara and eye shadow. It keeps lips moisturized and can even be used in an emergency when you have run out of foundation. By adding a drop of food coloring to a dab of petroleum jelly, you can make lipstick, blush, and eyeshadow. Another use for this wonder product is hand moisturizer. Coat your hands before going to bed and by morning, your hands will be soft as a baby's bottom. It really does work as well as the directions that come with your home hair color kit says. Apply around the edges of your hairline to prevent stains from running hair dye.
Hair care: It is true, ladies. Mayo makes a great hair conditioner. Apply a liberal amount to damp hair. Allow it to condition twenty minutes under a plastic hair cap. Rinse well and style as usual. Heated olive oil makes a great hair conditioner also. Use the oil the same as for mayo. Olive oil will remove paint from your hair if you are planning to re-paint a few rooms as part of a make-over. Vinegar makes an excellent final rinse for your hair. Pour a cup of vinegar over your head after you shampoo. It leaves your hair clean and shiny.
The very best free beauty tip: Children love to get their faces painted at fairs, carnivals, or other special events. Sometimes the face paintings are pricey. Paint your child's face before you leave home with this free face paint. mix one tablespoon of cold cream with a tablespoon of cornstarch and a few drops of water. Separate the mixture into two or more small disposable plates. Add a drop of food color to each mixture, a different color for each one. Mix well and apply paint to face with small paintbrushes. A Q-Tip will do if you do not have a paintbrush handy. You do not have to be an artist. Simply dots make cute flowers, Rainbows are just arcs and everybody can draw a heart. In fact, for your daughter's next party, have a face painting. You will be mom of the year.
I hope these free beauty tips are beneficial to you. Look around and you will find that all you need to clean, moisturize, condition, and heal can be found in your kitchen or bathroom. Buy vinegar, petroleum jelly, rubbing alcohol, olive oil, oatmeal, and mayo. They all have multiple uses outside the beauty routine.
