While the economy may have us all bummed out, we can ignore it and go have fun in a number of ways this summer. Most local greater Seattle towns have summer festivals featuring parades, music, auto shows, and all usually feature good food. Here's the breakdown on what events are free and fun this summer so we can dance our cares away after forking down strawberry shortcake or corndogs. This fun list is ordered by month rather than town.

May 30th Bellevue Art and Park Walk

Walk in conjunction with Volksmarch and view 20 pieces of public art, registration only until noon.

June 4th-6th Issaquah Music and Art Walk,
and every Thursday, Friday and Saturday eveening until Sept. 4th

Various forms of art are showcased in Issaquah's historic district, art on Friday, music all three nights.

June 13-20th Plein Air Paint Out

Local Artist's compete painting local Tukwila scenes and events. A special quick draw contest is held June 19th.
