Free Birthday Party: No Money Needed

Plan a Free Birthday Party

Matt A. Maxx
Yes! A free birthday party is possible to plan a fun-filled celebration around if that dreaded economy has stomped on your piggy bank. Everybody loves parties; so use this secret weapon to create a wonderful event that is filled with joy for that special person on the list that finances can't cover this year. A free birthday party is always in the budget.

How to make free party plans:

Think backwards in time to the advice that all children hear - 'make do' if the allowance runs short. Note: We were not told to do without. So, make a big list of gear that you'll want for this event, and try not to worry about costs; free birthday party plans are always magical. Add items such as invitations, refreshments, games, and lots of gifts to the list.

Choosing the entertainment:

Entertainment comes in two styles for parties. Host supplied entertainments are those paid for acts like live bands, clowns, trips to amusement parks and so on. Guest supplied entertainment is free through the use of costume parties; guest inspired jam sessions, and properly worded themed invitations. Decide how the guests can be entertaining.

All about refreshments:

In the past when groups of people gathered for an event, each person would bring a token food dish or bottle of wine as a courtesy to their host. Today, this tradition is called a pot-luck gathering. The free birthday party invitations should ask each guest to come to a pot-luck celebration. For a child's gathering, an all dessert or cookie pot luck might be fun.

Plan nice invitations:

Invitations can be made out of various household items like paper plates, computer paper, envelopes, or brown paper bags. The goal is to invite everybody to the pot-luck costume gathering, jam session, make over event, or cookie themed tiny-tots adventure; the more the merrier. Invite lots of people for an instant crowded to-do. Plan a big block party!

Game ideas for a birthday party:

Different age groups require different types of games, but beyond that technicality, all fun games are totally free to set-up and play. For parents entertaining a large group of children, games that require finding hidden objects are always a great way to have fun while filling in a large chunk of time. Some adults enjoy board game or card parties.

Have lots of fun birthday gifts:

The nice thing about a magical free birthday party is that somebody with financial troubles can blend into the scenery. Gifts will arrive for that special birthday person along with the refreshments, entertainment, games, and guests. Don't feel badly if there is no way to wrap your gift, magical free birthday party celebrations are very hard to box.
