The first feature I looked at was the Weight Tracker. You enter your current weight and your goal weight and it tracks your weight history. It displays it in a graph so you can easily see the progress you are making towards your goal.
The Food Diary lets you enter whatever foods you are having for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. Search for the foods you are eating and it keeps track of the fat, carbs and calories of each.
The Exercise Diary lets you enter in your physical activity for the day. It sets to a default of 8 hours of sleeping and 16 hours of resting and gives the calories burned during each. Add exercise activity from a list that determines how many calories you have burned by calculating the length of time you exercised and how strenuous the activity was.
The Diet Calendar shows a combination of calorie intake from food consumed and that burned during exercise to give you a net amount. This is very handy for finding out if you are doing enough exercise or taking in too many calories.
One of the really great features that I like is the ability to search a great number of foods. The detail is extensive. If you search for cranberry juice it wants to know if it's canned, frozen, unsweetened, is it a brand name; you definitely get a more accurate count of calories by being able to select exactly what you ate or drank. Many categories of food are available; including fruit, nuts and seeds, dairy, fast food, meat, pasta, sauces, snack and many others.
If you eat out quite a bit you can go directly to the Restaurants and Chains section. You will find listings like Arbys, Applebee's, Burger King, Boston Market, Ben & Jerry's, Hooters, The Olive Garden and many more. You can even search for foods by popular brand. So if you want to find out how many calories are in that Betty Crocker Moist Deluxe Cake Mix, you can.
This free app offers everything you need to keep an accurate accounting of your diet, food and exercise and makes it easy to stay on track to reach your goal weight.
