Dreams easily conjure in our minds. Yet, they are usually difficult to create in reality, especially in our overpriced reality. Seldom are dreams realized instantly. More often than not, they take several tries. We must heed Hughes' words and "hold fast," for if we give up after the first try, we will never experience the dream.

Three guys from Brooklyn had a dream. They wanted to open a live music and arts venue for the community to enjoy. They worked hard on this dream and were very near bringing it to fruition when the city tried to kill it by using eminent domain to confiscate the property, according to The Brooklyn Paper.

This was the first try.

Man-made laws can take ownership of man-made things, but they cannot own the human spirit.

One of the dreamers of the live music and arts venue, Todd Triplett, opened a project on Kickstarter. He raised $21,320 to open a new venue.

It's called "FREE CANDY" and he hopes to bring it to you soon.
