One of the most popular classic Halloween cartoon characters is Casper the Friendly Ghost. Carving an image of Casper onto a pumpkin this Halloween is a fun idea for kids or the young at heart.

The easiest way of doing so is by using a simple pumpkin stencil. You can find one free Casper the Friendly Ghost pumpkin stencil on the Pumpkin Wizard website. It is a design of the cartoon character standing up with a cute grin on its face.

It is also a simple enough design that most people could probably complete the carving successfully.

From the website, you can print out the free stencil directly or download a PDF file and print that out. The most effective way to use it is by attaching it to your pumpkin and either tracing or poking holes around the character. Then, you can use a shading method on the grey areas and a cutting method on the black areas of his eyes.
