If you can't crochet, you could use any of these celebrity crochet charts as cross stitch or plastic canvas charts. If you decide to go with the cross stitch projects, you will need large enough pieces of cross stitch fabrics. You may need several pieces of the largest plastic canvas sheets to make any of these celebrities.

The charts could be used as a reference for making a quilt. I would suggest using one inch squares to make the quilt. As I haven't tried this yet, but I believe squares large than one inch would be too large and make a huge quilt.

However, I wouldn't go over two inches in size for the squares. The borders of any of the quilts could be made in strips rather than squares. Just be sure to allow for seam allowances for all squares. You will need to make sure the squares line up to make the faces look correct.
