Bill Frische
Free Christmas computer games are the best for kids! All these games are family friendly and are even fun for adults for play with their kids. So get ready for some fun Christmas games to get you into the Christmas Spirit.

1. The Holiday Spot

The Holiday Spot has games for all the important holiday, but this link is the one for the Christmas games. These games are best for younger children and include a Santa Silder Puzzle, a Christmas Maze, and Build a Snowman. They all require Adobe Flash player and might take a minute or two to download and start.

2. The Kidz Page

This page is good for more than just kid's Christmas games. You can also play Christmas learning games or get some Christmas Clip art. They have online word searches, spot the difference, crossword puzzles, as well as more arcade type games such as Christmas softball.

These are also online games which require Flash, Shockwave, or Java to play.

3. BlueSkied

BlueSkied is a company with a few games that require you to download an installer and run it to get the game to install. Their Christmas games consist of a pretty fun game where Santa's presents have all been stolen by bugs and it is your job to help get them back. The graphics are similar to some of the older arcade games like the original Mario Brothers or Duke Nukem's and are entertaining to watch. The name of the Christmas game is called Christmas Bound and requires a Windows operating system to run. No Macintosh version yet.

4.Terra Game

Lastly there is Chicken Invaders 3: Christmas Edition. No Christmas review is complete without it. In this game, the chickens are tired of being the food supply so they are out for revenge against the earthlings. This game is good for those with a sensor of humor but might confuse younger kids. The graphics are good and the music is not annoying. It is a demo and if you like it is cost 20 bucks to get more than 60 minutes of game play.

It is a little difficult to install. You click on the demo link and then you are presented with an program you need to run. Once you run it, it connects back to the Internet to download the files that it takes to run the game. It also requires an Internet connection once the game is running. In my case, my personal firewall attempted to block the connection. So make sure you configure your firewall appropriately when the firewall asks to allow the various connections for Chicken Invaders.
