Walt Disney's Tinkerbell Movie introduces the world to Tinkerbell's new friends known collectively as the Disney Fairies. This is the first film in which Tinkerbell is the star. Of course, she made her debut in Peter Pan, but in Tinkerbell Movie she is the star.

Tinkerbell Movie is only the first of several Disney movies that will feature Tinkerbell and the rest of the Disney Fairies. The others films coming in 2009, 2010, and 2011 respectively are Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure, Tinker Bell: A Midsummer Storm, Tinker Bell: A Winter Story.
