Free Cruise Tickets to the Bahamas: Must Use Before Expiration Date September 10, 2008

F.D.Burgess
Congratulations, you have won; your name was chosen in our raffle give-away! Yes, you will receive tickets for two for this 7-day cruise but you must take the trip now before the expiration date September 10.

The cruise comes with many extras such as a performance by Ike, who has already become a powerful force to reckon within adjoining islands. We heard that Ike is in a category by himself, so this will be an interesting performance!

We also anticipate an appearance by Josephine but her arrival is based on the route and date her tour takes through the Bahamas. Because of her busy schedule, she has not been affirmed to rendezvous with us. However, there is still an opportunity for us to see her perform when we return home.

Unfortunately, we are working with a skeleton crew as most opted to be with their families, traveling, during weekend reunions. Regardless of that, you will barely know this because we offer great, exciting service each cruise.

Weather advisory indicates windy conditions on at least three of our cruise days. We will have easy access to a meteorologist via telecast if needed; sometimes the sea does not cooperate with cruises. It is recommended passengers bring a light jacket, as these days may also be cool with a possibility of water splashing onto the deck.

Rarely, but there may be an electrical outage during turbulence, so review this list of items to bring: coolers, bottles of drinking water, flashlights, batteries, all schedule medications, non-perishable foods, and a charged cell phone. If you can think of anything else, speak with staff personnel.

There are some safety regulations we must review with you before we leave for the cruise. If anyone has a seasickness problem, we have medication aboard. Barf bags are available. We advise those who like to drink not to imbibe as there is plenty of time when confined to a cabin during rough waves. At that time, all drinks are free.

Turbulent waves may cause rough seas, so for safety sakes, remain inside until the staff feel it is safe to go out on the deck. To avoid injury, please use heavy furniture to stabilize yourself during turbulence.

Once we get to the Bahamas, you may notice major cleanup along with reconstruction of a few buildings. A few buildings were imploded to help with demolition. Some of these projects will not be completed so pardon the dust.

We ask that you not interfere with these projects. The casino is still available since it is a sturdy building and not involved in the reconstruction.

Due to the danger of reconstruction, we will attend a performance held by natives in a safer building away from danger. A few souvenir shops will be available farther inland, transportation will be provided.

We ask that all passengers return to the ship within 2 hours. We do not want to miss Josephine' performance. She was disappointed about not being able to rendezvous with our ship but her trip slowed down dramatically.

According to the meteorologist, the weather will be very windy with rain, once we leave the island. It is possible to get ahead of Josephine before the rendezvous. Then, once again, we will enter turbulence and high waves halfway through the cruise back home.

I was informed that several passengers wanted to forego Josephine's performance and return home. They wanted to see if Ike made it to their hometown and caused a commotion with his fans that have faithfully followed his performance on TV.

Please bring your cameras!

Happy cruising!
