The Dallas Mavericks had a rocky start in Game 1, losing to the Miami Heat with a final score of 92 to 84. As reported by ESPN, Dirk Nowitzki tore a finger tendon in his left hand, but expects to be fine in time for Game 2 on Thursday.
As the Dallas Mavericks work to beat the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals, Dallas fans can show their support at local watch parties. The Studio Movie Grill, American Airlines Center and Granada are treating sports fans with free admission to watch parties.

While the Mavericks are away playing in Miami's American Airlines Arena, the American Airlines Center is hosting a free watch party on Thursday, June 2. The Mavs Dancers, ManiAACs and Street Team will join Ali Dee and Ro Parrish to make sure the crowd is loud, proud and rowdy.
Free admission does not include parking or concessions. $5 parking is available in Lots E and F. The Platinum parking garage charges $10.

The Granada is showing its team spirit with free watch parties. Due to previous commitments, the Granada will not show Game 2 and 3. The theater hosts its next viewing party on Tuesday, June 7. The game broadcasts on three 30-foot HD screens with a screen displaying a live Twitter feed.
