Free Disney Ticket for Helping Others

Chad R. Herman
In the early 1950s, a young man envisioned a world where anyone could go and be whisked off to a magical land that only existed in the world of fantasy. There was no evil; there was no anger, just a land of magical beauty. In the late 1950s, the dream of this young animator became real. All of the characters that he created inhabited this land, and the park was considered paradise on earth.

In the early '60s, this same man dreamt of a world where this land was merely a piece of it. This world would be an ever growing, ever evolving world of wonder, discovery, and tranquil serenity. Not only that, but this world would take its guest into a world of fantasy that was never breeched before. This man was named Walt Disney, and this world is called Disney World. Four parks of discovery, wonder, and awe inspiring sites.

This world of wonder has become known for generations as the happiest place on earth. The ticket prices have risen from $10 to up to $70.This fee to some is reasonable for the many fantastic things that you get for this price. For most, this is an astronomical fee that is a stretch to afford more than once a year, and that is on a wish and a prayer. However, now Disney is offering something back. Disney is offering something in return. Disney is offering a way to come visit all of the magic, all of the splendor, and all of the dreamy fantasy for a mere altruistic act.

For the first time in history, Disney has created their "Give a day, Get a day" campaign. If you volunteer 1 day of your time to any of their approved volunteering sites, you will get a 1 day 1 park admission to any of the Disney Parks. These volunteer sites vary from building a house for a homeless person with HUD, to teaching a young person how to read in the library systems. The company has decided that it's about time they recognize the people who do something for the community, who think about others, and put aside their selfish ways for a day.

In order to become a part of this grand opportunity, you have to register at the "Give a day, Get a day" website, and volunteer at one of the approved sites. As soon as you complete your day they give you a voucher for 1 free day into any of the 4 Disney parks. Casting aside your self for the uplifting empowerment of others is a gift in itself, getting a Disney day is just an added bonus.
