FREE Download of Suze Orman's "Women & Money" at Oprah.com!

Oprah Winfrey is giving everyone Suze Orman's book "Women & Money" for FREE! The catch - you must download it on Oprah.com by 5pm on Feb 14!

I watched Oprah Winfrey today and she had Suze Orman on. Suze Orman is of course a very smart lady that knows a lot about finances. She also has her own TV show that I have watched a few times and learned a lot from.

Today, Suze talked about how women should prepare and prevent financial disaster in their lives. After investigating one of Oprah's guest's bad relationships, she tells everyone there is no reason that women should end up broke, homeless, and in debt after they leave their husbands. We know that most women stay in an abusive relationships because of money, but Suze said that a woman needs to save herself and make sure they have money for when they get out. She advised that by just putting money aside, women can have a few thousand dollars saved up in a few months time. That is enough for the woman to escape and start over in a fresh, healthy life. One important thing she kept repeating was that "there is always money coming in." This means that it's up to the woman to either spend or save that money. For instance, she used the example of Oprah's guest buying jeans. Suze told that guest that she could have put money away instead of buying all those jeans.

Ms. Orman gave us all good tips on how to handle money in our relationships. We should create a financial plan each month, save money, and be very aware of how much expenses we have going out each month.

In the March issue of O magazine there will be a section on money management. Suze's advice will appear in the article.

Towards the end of the show, Oprah announced that today, people at home would be receiving one of her giveaways for the first time! I was so excited to hear what she was giving to us. She revealed that Suze Orman's book "Women & Money" can be downloaded for free at Oprah.com. This will end at 5pm on February 14, 2008.
