Free Earth Day E-cards

Send a Reminder to Help Our Earth

Ana Blanco
Earth Day was established on April 22, 1970, thanks to U.S. Senator Gaylord Nelson, who began spreading environmental concerns and actions in 1962. The first Earth Day was attended by 20 million Americans.

Help the earth by sending an e-card instead of a paper card this year. It's also a good way to remind your family and friends to help the Earth on Earth Day and every day. Here are some websites that offer free e-cards.

The Nature Conservancy

The Nature Conservancy is an organization that works around the world to protect land and water for nature and people. They have "protected more than 119 million acres of land and 5,000 miles of rivers worldwide and ... operate more than 100 marine conservation projects globally."

The Nature Conservancy's website offers photos that can be sent as Earth Day E-cards for free. The photos show landscapes and animals that they are working to protect and the photos are taken by their e-members.

Rustle the Leaves

Rustle the Leaves is an environmental comics website that also offers environmental educational content. They have four Earth Day E-cards to choose from. While at the website take a look at their other downloads. They offer several Earth Day Book downloads and Earth Day Wallpapers.

Earthjustice

Earthjustice is a non-profit public interest law firm that works to protect our land, natural resources and wildlife. They have a page dedicated on their website to Earthjustice e-cards that are perfect for Earth Day. You can choose from six different photos of scenery, a dolphin or a wolf.

Care2

You can help important charities by sending e-cards with Care2. Members earn butterfly credits when they send free Care2 e-cards. The credits can be redeemed for gifts like safe drinking water or help for shelter pets. They are connected with over 350 nonprofit organizations, elected officials and millions of members. Care2 has several Earth Day cards to choose from.

Blue Mountain

Blue Mountain offers e-cards for every holiday. You can also find holiday projects including greeting cards, bookmarks, calendars, candy wrappers, labels and much more. For Earth Day you can choose from seven available e-cards; 'Celebrate Earth Day', 'Our Beautiful Planet', 'In Praise of Nature', 'Earth Day', 'Celebrating The Earth', 'Nature's Gift' or 'Handle With Care'.
