Kelly Spies
Teens are tech savvy and computer literate. They are connecting with their friends on MySpace, texting each other almost 24 hours a day and never without some form of communication. Why not take advantage of technology and send your teen's birthday party invitations online as an ecard?

Here are a just a few places that will allow you to create, send and manage online birthday invitations.

Evite - Evite is a free online invitation resource that allows you to select from premade invitation templates or create your own by uploading images and creating text. Evite invitations give you the option to send your guests reminders and even create a URL for your invitation. Not only that but you can also manage your guests responses through the Evite website or on your cell phone. To use the Evite service visit their website at evite dot com.

123 Greetings - 123 Greetings is another free online invitation service that allows you design your own custom birthday invitations or select one from a pre-made template.
