This site is perfect for teaching kids about specific fruits and vegetables. Each coloring page has one type of produce, like strawberries or corn, illustrated and labeled. Print out the ones you grow in your own garden for a little lesson on gardening and nutrition.

Here you'll find a collection of more detailed coloring pages about butterflies, birds, vegetables and flowers. Only the birds are labeled with their species, but all of the pages are beautiful and perfect for older kids who enjoy coloring and more intricate artwork.

Wonder Time
This activity is a great way to teach preschoolers about simple shapes and help them make a garden picture at the same time. The site recommends using felt or construction paper; just print out the shape templates, trace them onto the material, cut them out and paste them onto your paper to make a beautiful garden picture.
