I never thought about making homemade Christmas ornaments out of jigsaw puzzles that have missing pieces. While roaming the internet today, I ran across some homemade Christmas ornaments that were made out of jigsaw puzzles. I thought that would be an interesting idea for this article.

Besides the reason I started this article with, there are a few other reasons we could use those jigsaw puzzles with missing pieces for making Christmas ornaments. Another reason is because it seems like a waste to throw a way a puzzle when it can be recycled into something useful like Christmas tree ornaments. Another reason is with so many people being laid off, making your own Christmas tree ornaments from those useless jigsaw puzzles can give you an outlet for something positive.

After writing that last sentence, I also realized making homemade Christmas ornaments out of jigsaw puzzle pieces could be a way to bring in some extra cash if you are without a job that you once had. It may not be a lot of money, but it could mean the difference of going hungry, keeping your lights on or even just having that extra cash for a few presents under the tree.

Even if you haven't lost your job and are looking for away to bring in a little extra cash making the homemade puzzle ornaments could help do just that. You could just make them for your own Christmas tree as a way to save money from replacing broken Christmas ornaments. Another thing is you may be looking for something different for your tree this year.

Even though I got a little side tracked with making homemade puzzle Christmas ornaments, I think they would be something to consider if you are wanting to try homemade Christmas ornaments this year. If you have kids, they may be able to come up with a few ideas of their own. If they do, have them sit down and make a few of their own for the tree. This way the family can have a hand in making homemade Christmas ornaments from puzzles.
