Knitting Patterns for Your IPod

When you invest in things you want to protect them from getting damaged. Most people have an iPod or iPhone these days, and they do not come cheap. One way to protect them is with a case. Here are some free iPod case knitting patterns that can help you protect your investment from scratches and dings.

Free iPod Case Knitting Pattern #1-Furry Palm iPod Case Pattern

This case might not be practical if you want a case to exercise or workout with, but if you travel and just need something to slip it into when you shove it into your purse or bag it will be perfect. The directions for this knitting pattern are very basic, but you should be able to follow them. There are two pictures for you to see what the iPod will look like in the case. This case can be done in bright and fun colors that will make it easy for you to spot in your overstuffed purse!

Free iPod Case Knitting Pattern #2- iPod Case

You have a flap closure on this case which makes it harder for your iPod to fall out of the case. The flap will also have a button so be sure you have one on hand. You can really add some character to this case with a funky button. If you don't have a button you could always add a little bit of Velcro to the case. The directions for this knitting pattern are very thorough and should be pretty easy to follow.

Free iPod Case Knitting Pattern #3- iPod Tube Sock

This iPod case knitting pattern will have you sporting a trendy looking tube sock. You don't make this out of a tube sock, but people might think you did. The knitting pattern for this tube sock case is very thorough and should be easy for you to follow. The picture shows the tube sock in white and blue, but I think you could really make it cool by doing two very bright colors. You will be knitting this one for friends once they see your tube sock iPod case. This would be a great gift for a college student that often throws their iPod in their backpack.

These are three great free iPod case knitting patterns that are sure to protect your iPod from scratches and dings that they might receive in your purse or in your backpack. It would also make a unique way to wrap one if you are giving it as a gift.

Cute ideas! If I knew how to knit, I'd definitely make one of these for my husband. He won't go anywhere without his iPod. :)
